Send PLT straight to the machine
The send dialog turns selected curves into a PLT and pushes it to the controller. Five checks before you press send will save most bad jobs.
Before you send
- Select only the paths you want cut. Text, bitmaps and construction lines in the selection are ignored or refused.
- Confirm the size in millimetres in the dialog. A wrong unit is the single most expensive mistake here.
- Check the origin — where the job will start on the media.
- Set tool, speed and force for cutting and for creasing separately.
- Preview the toolpath. Look for a stray path far outside the sheet; it usually means something unwanted was selected.
Sending
- Pick the machine from the device list. If nothing is listed, see Can't reach the controller.
- Press send. The dialog reports the number of paths and the estimated length.
- Watch the machine start. A job that never starts is almost always a device that was listed but not actually connected.
Progress read-backOnce running, the panel shows live position and progress. If it freezes at the same number while the machine keeps moving, the network link dropped — the machine will finish the buffered part and stop.
After a break
If the job stops midway, the controller keeps its position. Resume from the panel instead of sending the whole file again; re-sending starts from the origin and wastes the material already used.
If loading fails
A “cannot load DtzCdrToolCore.dll” message means the tool and its DLLs are from different builds. See that article — reinstalling the matched package fixes it.
